From Wobbly Warrior to Hatha Teacher: My Yoga Journey

If you had told me years ago that I’d be guiding people into serene meditation and graceful asanas, I probably would’ve laughed—mid-failed Crow Pose, no less. But here I am, a 300-hour certified Hatha Yoga teacher, a proud Yoga Alliance Professional member, and someone who no longer topples over in Tree Pose (well, mostly..😂).

GRADUATION!!👩‍🎓

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for this journey. One of the hardest things I have ever done, but by far the most rewarding one!!

I never would’ve thought my life would take a turn it did and I’d be here today. Graduating as a Yoga Teacher and absolutely loving every second of it! Never been more happy to be sharing my passion with others and creating memories with the most incredible people 🤍

It was not a walk in a park, even though we’ve done one! #mindfulness 😂

They say, things happen for a reason. I don’t know yet what the reason was (or is), but all I will say I AM READY FOR THE RIDEEEE 😻

🤍 Starting Position
-Begin in a tabletop position with your hands directly under your shoulders and knees under your hips.
-Spread your palms wide and root down through all corners of your hands.

🤍 Transition to Downward-Facing Dog
-Tuck your toes under and lift your knees off the mat.
-As you inhale, lift your hips up and back, creating an inverted “V” shape with your body.
-Press your heels downward and back toward the ground.
-Your tailbone should reach toward the sky.

🤍 Alignment Tips
-Focus on creating a straight line from your hands to your hips.
-Squeeze your upper thighs and engage your core muscles.
-Rotate your biceps slightly forward to open your shoulders and release tension in the neck.
-Squeeze your arms and shoulders toward each other to engage the upper body.
-Relax your neck and gaze back at your feet.
-Release your heels toward the floor to stretch the calves.
