The Practice of Sensual Yoga is not only life changing but deeply satisfying!Let's face it, what wouldn't you do for better sex?Now that's not to say that your sex isn't mind blowing at this very moment ... but can you do better? Now ... there are ways and means ...but let's first talk just about the down town version of yoga. There's a lot to be said about toning ...those ah ..pelvic floor muscles! I became more conscious of it after my partner (who I'd encouraged to go to yoga) came home a couple of times dripping in sweat ... and with a glowing face described some yoga cuties with tight butts, perfect breasts and perfect posture STUNG!... with just a bit of jealousy ... I headed back to my yoga classes with intensified energy ... and you know what?
Now let's not get off the track here ... we are talking about Yoga ... and these were yoga classes for the public to participate in. If you want to learn more about sensual tantric yoga but don't want to do it in the public domain, then the tantra home course is for you. Now ... I'd be less than honest if I didn't tell you that I like the eye candy at my yoga class ... the men who practice yoga seem to develop long lean muscles rather than those poppy muscles that you see on body builders... Now each to their own .... I just happen to like the long lean muscled look in my men... What Yoga can do is improve sex through strengthening the sexual core muscles around the genitals, this will increase the sensation, duration and comfort.
So among the many other things that yoga teaches is to isolate and lift the PC muscle, that's the one between the pubic bone and the tailbone ... you can even eventually learn to isolate the perineum, a key area of sexual pleasure for both men and women. An article that I came across written By Amy Sohn for New York Magazine had this to say, "Yoga helps men, too—Sting inspired lots of them to study Tantra ten years ago when he boasted that he and his wife could have sex for up to eight hours. (He recanted last year, telling a reporter, “What I didn’t say was that this included four hours of begging and then dinner and a movie.”) “I can keep it harder way longer than I used to,” says Garvey Rich, 38, an eight-year yoga practitioner and co-producer of the Better Sex series. “I can have mini-orgasms and then keep going, and when I actually come, it’s bigger and more full-bodied, a really good one all over.” But the biggest turn-on, he says, is getting girls he dates into yoga. Last year, he was dating one who “was addicted to a vibrator. It looked like a cake mixer, and I would have to use it and then my hand. I told her I wasn’t into it, and we started doing yoga in bed for twenty minutes at night. She commented that she felt more comfortable and more sensitive, and soon she didn’t have to use the vibrator.”" The point of all this is that learning to control breath during the yoga asanas helps in being able to control breath during sex and makes it easier to control ejaculation to co-incide with when your partner is ready. Now, this is all true! ... And your yoga classes will definately give you the edge on your competition when it comes to having toned pelvic floor muscles and being able to breathe, but there is something more in the art of tantric sex .... a combination of mind, emotion and body ..... and this can best be taught by professionals. The reason I say this is because while I was single a couple of years back, I came across this course which was a home study course which showed me a totally different perspective on tantric yoga. Although, in my study of yoga I'd taken part in a few weekend courses, nothing then or since has compared to this home study course. I took a chance and showed my partner this course and he was totally blown away. As it's a downloadable course you can easily do it in the privacy of your own space. My partner isn't into yoga, so a great deal of what this course teaches wasn't obvious to him, but he has taken it all on board and our lovemaking has entered a new and different level. As a person truly involved in yoga, this course gave me a totally different perspective. Anyone who wants to have a fulfilled relationship with their partner should try this course. It's not for the faint hearted or easily embarrassed. It deals with deep emotional issues from both a male and female perspective ... but more importantly this course focuses on the needs of males and females individually and makes you aware of what your partner needs from an emotional and sexual point. These are the beginnings of sacred sex as is taught in the tantra home course. I have found this course to be life changing and inspiring. Nude YogaThis also has its place. Many people swear that doing yoga in the buff is just the most liberating experience. I must admit, I haven't tried it yet but some of my friends have gotten the nude yoga dvd's and nude yoga videos and they're literally doing nude yoga for couples. What's wrong with having a little fun while strengthening? Some videos and dvd's offer nude aerobic yoga. So if you're interested then have a look for those dvd's or videos. I know you can get them at amazon. Just as an aside, one of the people I spoke to said that the greatest buzz, for her, was doing nude yoga on the beach! As I said .... yoga is a very individual practice. Then again there's always Aaron Star's form of 'Hot Nude Yoga. If you want to find out about it then just click on the link. I find Aaron's dvd and video series to be great .... and I'm talking about the yoga exercises ..... Tantric sex is much, much more than just exotic and erotic sex ... it is a mind experience as well as a body experience and this home study course will teach you just that. People turn to the Kama Sutra in search of a revitalization of their sexual practices. The thought of exotic techniques and positions sparks the imagination and so leads to the quest for more information on sacred sex. Well, do you know anything about Kama Sutra. Often when it's spoken about it's done so in connection with sex ... well that's a very simplistic way of looking at it and definitely not what it's all about. To give you an idea, the Kama Sutra details many kissing techniques, courting practices, methods of touching to send shivers down your spine, sexual positions or asanas. Ways of synchronizing your breath so that you're in tune with your partner, eye connection so that you can see your partner's arousal and more. It also teaches ways of treating partners, concocting aphrodisiacs and much, much more. It is interesting to see how greatly these very developed cultures honored and viewed the necessity of sacred sex and how they understood that it was necessary to teach it to the next generation. We aren't born sexual creatures ... it is learnt by association and experience and this love manual, the Kama Sutra shows how important it was even some 3000 years ago. It's no wonder that we're drawn to the Kama Sutra like moths to a flame ... as within it's covers lies the mystique of ancient cultures who loved sexual and sensual play and knew it's importance to the fulfillment of life. I found this article by Paul to be interesting and worth reading: Tantra Yoga SecretsContributed By: Paul Jerard Tantra Yoga is unity by controlling sexual energy. When you consider the main Indian Yoga styles, Tantra Yoga is probably the most controversial of them all. So what is the problem? Is it our “sexual hang-ups” or is it something more? What is the origin of Tantra Yoga? Is it all linked to the Kama Sutra or is there more to it? Since Tantra Yoga uses many components of the classical Yoga styles such as mudras, pranayama, asanas, meditation, Bhakti, Yantra, and Kundalini, there are many similarities to other forms of Yoga practice. Some Yogis say that Tantra Yoga is the hardest Yoga to define, but there is a fundamental difference. The major difference is Tantra Yoga accepts and embraces the
power of “desire.” Tantra Yogis are not trained to avoid desires
that arouse the senses. This is a stark contrast from the many
other forms of Yoga, which train their students to renounce
desire. This is the foundation of the division between Tantra
Yoga and the other classical Indian styles. At different points in time, ritual Tantric sex has been
considered common place within certain Tantra followings.
However, it is not as common place as some might think. There is
also a common belief that Tantric sex is always intentionally
prolonged. This is not always the case and sometimes Tantric sex
takes it own natural course.

The philosophy behind it is to intensify the union between man and women thereby enabling them both to reach that 'spiritual' place together.
